As a young child, Greg was playing in a kitchen at his father's tourism workplace when he discovered an unplugged electrical socket behind a removed cooking stove. Deciding to plug it in for amusement, he received a massive electric shock from head to toe that paralyzed him and stopped his heart. He lost consciousness and found himself bathed in an extremely white, restful light that covered all walls.
