Gina R was struck by a car going 45 mph while crossing an eight-lane road on June 25, 2003. Just before impact, she felt a force pull her in a direction, leaving her in darkness momentarily. She sensed the projection before it happened and felt she could protect herself throughout the accident. She believes an angel was involved in pulling her to safety.
After being thrown about 50 feet and landing on her back, she lay on the hot pavement and saw her life flash before her, including images of not walking and dying in the hospital. She experienced leaving her body with a pulling force associated with darkness, having peripheral vision with phenomena happening outside of it. She felt she went someplace protected and beautiful, and when she awoke it was as if she wasn't injured, though she had developed pneumonia and wasn't expected to walk for three years (but walked within one year). The experience included seeing herself on a hospital bed and using crutches in the future. She felt incredible joy, unity with the universe, and suddenly understood everything. She encountered what she described as an angelic presence there to save her. The experience increased her faith in God as Love, the Highest Power and Creator, her Savior Lord Jesus Christ. --- Biblical Summary --- Biblical elements: The angelic intervention aligns perfectly with biblical accounts of guardian angels. Her life review, increased faith in Jesus Christ as Savior, and recognition of God as the Highest Power demonstrate biblical transformation. The vision of her future recovery could be seen as divine revelation. Her survival against overwhelming odds and faster-than-expected healing suggest divine intervention. Unbiblical elements: She mentions being on psychotropic medication and having some telepathic abilities and attempting telekinesis afterward, which could be concerning from an orthodox perspective. However, her core faith appears strongly Christian.
