Glenda H was a high school student who skipped church to go joyriding with friends in a VW Bug. The car crashed into a cement culvert on a gravel road, flipped, and landed in a deep irrigation canal. The car filled with icy water with Glenda trapped inside while others escaped. Her friend dove back in and twisted the door off to rescue her.
After the thought "Oh, I'm dead" entered her mind, Glenda's body went limp and she was instantly replaced with overwhelming contentment and love. She felt enveloped in concentrated love that she was breathing in. She encountered beings without form in the distance and was with a Being of bright white light she initially thought was God but later learned might have been Jesus. They communicated telepathically, and she was shown a life review where she experienced other people's feelings during past situations. She heard every significant thing that affected her life simultaneously with extreme clarity. The Being said "These are your accomplishments" or "What have you accomplished?" and sent her back. She didn't want to return and oddly didn't think of her family. The whole experience seemed long but took only about two minutes. The experience led her away from organized religion toward personal spirituality, removing her fear of death and confirming that our earthly reality is not the true reality. --- Biblical Summary --- Biblical elements: The Being of bright white light aligns with biblical descriptions of divine encounters.
