David, a 32-year-old from Hawaii, experienced an NDE in 1990 while living in California. After returning from a skiing trip at Squaw Valley, he developed a severe cough that progressed to walking pneumonia. Alone at home one evening, wrapped in warm clothing, he struggled to breathe and attempted to walk outside but collapsed. Back in his room, he experienced severe chest pain, convulsions, and stopped breathing.
During his NDE, David found himself in his room but with everything glowing with blue-green auras. He could see his footprints and handprints glowing where he touched. He traveled rapidly through a light and experienced a life review. Initially, he arrived at a stormy, volcanic place with ghost apparitions. A frightening spirit woman in ancient garb attacked him, biting his spirit shoulder with intense pain. David cried out for God's forgiveness. The hostile spirits retreated, and God's light appeared like a rising sun, transforming the dark landscape into paradise with waterfalls, grass, trees, and birds.
