Dr. Ghalabi, a space mechanical engineer, experienced NDE during nose surgery in a European hospital when anesthesia failed. His body was paralyzed but he felt severe continuous pain, leading to cardiac arrest with no pulse or breathing for about 3 minutes - clinical death. He experienced a complete life review from being in his mother's womb onward, happening rapidly but comprehensibly. He was pulled from his body through the hospital roof at incredible speed into space.
He entered a dark cylinder tunnel in space with white ghosts including his mother who died when he was 5. They reached toward the tunnel center trying to touch him. He saw light at the tunnel's end and was about to leave our universe when an unknown voice demanded he travel faster than light speed. He observed scientifically while heading toward limitless speed. God decided he had to return to his "container" despite the pain. He landed on an alabaster planet surrounded by huge beings, witnessing the most beautiful creation of God - love meant for all people without exception. He was ordered back as it wasn't his time. He returned to life sad and in pain. The experience gave him knowledge of a supreme universal reality spanning seen and unseen universes. --- Biblical Summary --- Biblical elements: Clinical death experience, life review, tunnel with light, encounter with deceased mother, divine voice/command, otherworldly realm with beings, universal love from God, being sent back. The alabaster planet could parallel biblical descriptions of heavenly realms. Unbiblical elements: The abstract from his book mentions both Quran and Bible, suggesting syncretistic approach. The concept of traveling faster than light and scientific observation of the experience reflects materialistic interpretation of spiritual phenomena rather than pure spiritual understanding.
