Edward was struck broadside by a car while riding a motorcycle in November 1963. He recalls being upside down and flying through the air before landing in a ditch, experiencing a mind-body separation. He found himself in a white clouded tunnel with a bright white light at the end, experiencing extreme pleasure and wanting to reach the light.
