Diana R experienced a heart attack in 1990 while suffering from end-stage renal disease with only 10% kidney function remaining, compounded by severe uremia and sleep apnea episodes. She had suffered from chronic kidney failure since age five and was critically ill awaiting dialysis. During routine sleep apnea episodes where her breathing and heart would stop and restart, she experienced one severe event where instead of immediately waking, she found herself in the presence of a being of light in a heavenly place of light.
During the experience, she believed she was in the presence of Jesus or God - a male being in a white toga-type garment emanating light in a place where light emanated from everything. They communicated telepathically at incredible speed, and she was shown a comprehensive life review that moved very rapidly yet was completely comprehensible. After the review, she asked many questions about the meaning of life, scientific questions about the universe and micro-verse, receiving all answers with perfect clarity. She understood her birth purpose and life mission, learning that Earth is like a school where we learn to interact and love. She was told her work wasn't finished and was sent back against her will. She re-entered her body with a physical thud, waking up gasping and coughing with severe chest pressure and pain feeling like someone had run over her chest with a truck. The next morning at Kaiser Permanente, doctors ran multiple tests including an EKG while showing concern, though they only adjusted her medications. Years later, when reviewed by the Hartford Hospital Transplant Team, the EKG revealed she had suffered a heart attack that night, providing medical validation of her NDE.
