Andrew, age 11, had a head-on motorcycle collision with his friend Eric while riding in a park. Both were on the same trail headed directly at each other, and Andrew decided to hold his ground instead of veering off. When bucked off his motorcycle in mid-air, time stopped and he had a spiritual experience. He saw flashes of his life, a bright light drawing him in, and was asked which religious form he wanted the presence to appear in. He chose Jesus Christ who appeared in a blue robe with strong backlighting. The small Andrew was asked how he wanted the situation resolved and decided to continue living. Jesus agreed he would do a front flip onto a mattress, which then appeared. As the divine image shrank, the physical world came back into focus. He landed hard on his back, bounced, and skidded on his face. After the religious experience, he had an out-of-body experience moving through the air. He saw neighbor Marcia 70 yards away in a secret spot in the park where they sometimes smoked. She appeared motionless, confirmed later she was there and was surprised he knew. His tooth root died from trauma discovered 18 months later, and x-rays 26 years later showed vertebra damage causing occasional back spasms.
