Andy went to sleep normally around 11 PM and experienced a heart attack while sleeping. Upon opening his eyes, he immediately knew he was dead and existed as a spirit in an emptiness filled with light. He asked God for help and for his deceased sister to guide him. When no one appeared, he began moving by thought alone, feeling light and bodiless. He experienced thirst until a crystal-clear stream appeared with rounded stones. Following the stream led him to an intense white light that initially blinded him. The light revealed itself as the Virgin of Guadalupe, appearing as pure gold with light sparks emanating from her. He saw visions of his mother and sisters below, analyzing their potential grief. The Virgin told him twice with a tender voice that it wasn't his time and he must return, despite his pleas to stay. He woke seeing golden light that gradually faded. The experience led to reconciliation with his mother before her death three years later and gave him premonitory dreams and enhanced intuition about people.
