Wayne H was a pedestrian pushing a disabled car when struck from behind in August 1996. The impact was severe, bending frames on both cars. He regained consciousness in the emergency room knowing he would die. As he died, he experienced cessation of feeling, saw himself from above in an upper corner of the room viewing his body on the gurney. He sensed a presence and had communication beyond telepathy - instant sharing of knowledge. The wall became transparent revealing a flowing silver river with colored drops representing experiences of all who lived - the collective consciousness. He understood this as the "mind of God" containing omniscient knowledge of everything spoken, heard, and experienced.
He had a controversial first-person experience of Jesus (called Josephus), perceiving him as having regular parents, an NDE during birth, and being hanged (not crucified) after followers conspired against him. Wayne experienced realms beyond realms, universes beyond dimensions, reviewing his past lives in other existences. When told to return, he felt himself falling backward through darkness until re-emerging in his body. He died again during surgery but had no second experience. The experience left him with changed religious views, believing all religions are interrelated with the same core message. --- Biblical Summary --- Biblical elements: The experience contains several biblical elements including an out-of-body experience, encountering a divine presence, experiencing what he termed the "mind of God," and gaining special knowledge about spiritual realities. The concept of past lives and reincarnation in other realms contradicts biblical teaching of one life followed by judgment (Hebrews 9:27). The universalist view that all religions lead to the same source conflicts with Jesus's exclusive claims in John 14:6. The description suggests a pantheistic worldview incompatible with biblical theism.
