Nash J experienced his first NDE at age 4 when his alcoholic father attempted to drown him in a pool, holding him underwater until no breath or bubbles surfaced. Nash "woke up" underwater in a blue bubble, able to breathe in the water. He saw a thread and felt compelled to touch it, which pulled him into a great blue light. He found himself without body, existing as pure consciousness within what he could only describe as God. He experienced sitting within the divine presence with complete understanding. Upon revival by paramedics, he told them he was with God, though they laughed and patronized him. Nash had multiple subsequent NDEs: at age 5, he went through a car windshield in Hollywood and flatlined in the ambulance before mysteriously opening his eyes in the emergency room. At 16 in Wisconsin, he was struck by both a train and lightning simultaneously during a thundersnow storm, yet emerged without a scratch. In 1983, desiring to go "Home" to that divine place, he intentionally crashed into an oncoming car on Sunset Boulevard, but no one was hurt. After his first NDE, he developed "sight" - an ability to perceive beyond normal vision, including seeing the whole world, knowing beings intimately, and hearing pain anywhere. He describes entering a world made entirely of gems with a being called SRI. He experienced understanding everything about the universe and seeing future world events.
