Kent experienced a severe motor vehicle accident resulting in coma, head injury, collapsed lung, spinal cord damage, and permanent nerve damage. During his coma, he experienced complete disassociation from body and personality, traveling to another time and place where he witnessed a future world at war with people dying. He felt a profound realization that he needed to be there to bring attention to these ignored events. He experienced transitions through warm loving light described as mother's breath to a baby, gaining understanding that transcended earthly knowledge. He was shown that the only thing that matters is how one's actions make others feel, and that taking life tears the fabric of universal composition. Upon regaining consciousness, he repeatedly screamed about needing to return to where he had been. His experience included visions of future perpetual war with an undefeatable enemy and knowledge that all who have lived form God. Afterward, he developed psychic abilities to foretell others' futures and know details about their lives.
