LDL tripped and fell, hitting his left temple on the sharp corner of a low table. While unconscious, he heard people standing over him asking "Is he dead?" He then began moving feet-first through a dark tunnel, slowly turning counterclockwise. Red, green, and darker colored lights appeared around the tunnel edge. Human faces were clearly visible around the inside of the tunnel - all looking at him with various expressions, some smiling, others seeming bored. He felt no threat or fear from any of the faces and did not recognize any of them. As he moved faster through the tunnel, he suddenly returned to his body and awakened with no pain or apparent physical damage from the incident. The experience included verified awareness of people's comments while unconscious and a vivid journey through a tunnel populated with observing faces.
