Eight-year-old Lavona was wading in a creek during a family outing when she moved into deeper water while holding onto the bank. After checking the depth with one hand, she became submerged and lost consciousness. Her next awareness was of being cradled in a warm, wavy motion at the opening of a tunnel with billowy soft sides that was well lit.
