At age 14, Krikrikit accidentally overdosed on street drugs including Darvon, amphetamines, and alcohol. He experienced severe heart palpitations alternating between extremely slow heavy beats and wild fluttering. His heart eventually stopped completely. Immediately upon cardiac arrest, he found himself in a black void, feeling peaceful but puzzled by his apathy. He moved through the void toward a circular opening that oscillated like something alive, entering a tunnel-like hall. At the far end was a great Fire or Light that he understood represented God. This presence communicated telepathically, asking "You don't really KNOW yourself do you?" with multiple layers of meaning about knowledge, love, and existence. Krikrikit had to admit he didn't know anything in the presence of this all-knowing being. He was immediately sent back, moving through the tunnel in reverse.
