Jill was three or four years old when she experienced an NDE after being pushed off a bed by her older sister while jumping. She flew off the bed and hit the floor, immediately losing consciousness. During the experience, Jill could see everyone around her crying and shaking her body. They were saying "She's blue, Jill wake up, somebody do something!" She could hear and see everything they were doing but couldn't move her body despite trying. She attempted to make her body respond but it wouldn't do what she wanted. Then instantly, she found herself floating in the corner of the bedroom underneath the ceiling, watching everyone run around frantically trying to revive her. During this out-of-body state, she felt a very comforting female presence with her, though this presence never spoke. Her aunt went to the bathroom to get cold washcloths to apply to her face, and when these were applied, Jill suddenly regained the ability to move her body and returned to consciousness. Everyone was very upset and crying when she awoke. She immediately told them that she had heard them but couldn't move. The experience was clearly remembered by her whole family, with her aunt specifically recalling that Jill had turned blue and stopped breathing, and remembering getting the cold washcloths that helped revive her.
