As an infant in 1954, subject fell from high chair causing severe head injury. Parents reported she stopped breathing, turned blue, and was completely lifeless for approximately five minutes. This represents a significant hypoxic event in an infant, potentially life-threatening given the duration of respiratory arrest.
During the experience, subject observed from above as her father carried her while mother held onto father, rushing to hospital. She specifically saw her father slap her hard trying to revive her. The scene was witnessed from an elevated perspective impossible for an infant being carried. Simultaneously, she experienced being surrounded by dancing angels "like ballet dancers, swirling" who were leading her toward a beautiful glowing light. The subject felt intense love, security and desire to continue with the angels into the light.
