During cardiac angiography procedure on November 28, 2005, patient experienced severe complication when contrast dye caused heart spasm leading to ventricular fibrillation. Heart stopped for approximately 10 seconds requiring defibrillation. Cardiologist Dr. Paul confirmed this was his first such complication in over 2000 procedures.
