Gary A experienced an NDE during the first Hong Kong flu outbreak in 1966 when his temperature reached 106 degrees. His mother was tapping the thermometer in disbelief when he entered a black void and began traveling toward an almost globe-like bubble of light that he knew contained all knowledge.
While traveling through the dark void toward this intensely attractive light, he became aware of three other entities accompanying him. The closest entity was positioned with its upper self at his waist level, a second entity below that, and a third entity further below. The first entity communicated telepathically with incredible love and compassion, telling Gary it was not his time and he had a very long life to live. The love and sincerity from this being was so overwhelming that despite his urgency to reach the light, Gary accepted the message and returned. This experience profoundly impacted his life, leading him to live somewhat recklessly believing he had a long life ahead. After a major accident in the 1990s where he called out to God three times and survived against impossible odds, he realized "long life" didn't guarantee quality of life and became more careful.
