In November 1991, Carolina was struck by a car and run over, leaving tire marks even on her underwear. The accident caused internal head injury, ruptured eardrum, broken pelvis, ribs, shoulder, and kidney failure. She was in a deep coma for four days. The doctors suggested disconnecting life support, giving her extreme unction, but her mother insisted they wait. One doctor later told her mother that her faith was stronger than his diagnosis.
During the coma, Carolina felt a powerful impulse that knocked her into a large park. She found herself in a place of marvelous peace and fulfillment, with no sense of time or space - everything simply WAS. The temperature was embracing, everything brilliantly illuminated with sunlight. Behind her was a massive closed door with brilliant gold-colored bands, impossible to climb over. Before her was grass with a straight road disappearing at the horizon. She saw people in white, each in their own world, and a fountain. Her deceased grandmother appeared, looking 30 years younger than her death at 89, with loose long hair, barefoot, wearing a white blouse and black skirt. They communicated telepathically without words. Her grandmother expressed joy at seeing her after so long. They began walking/floating on the road without touching it. Suddenly, her grandmother became agitated and said she had to go, couldn't continue there. She left decisively without looking back or saying goodbye. Carolina's kidneys then began functioning (she started urinating for the first time), leading to her immediate and total recovery from the coma, which doctors couldn't explain. --- Biblical Summary --- Biblical elements: The experience contains strong biblical elements including the otherworldly realm with brilliant light reflecting heavenly glory.
