Angel was watching a movie with his son when he suddenly developed speech problems, movement difficulties, and balance issues from a stroke. He left his body and observed paramedics, police, firemen and neighbors trying to revive him, watching like other spectators. He could move freely everywhere and felt very calm. Looking down at his body, he entered a dark room where he encountered two deceased neighbors he had loved very much. When he tried to hug them, they dispersed like smoke. They communicated telepathically without words, showing him repeatedly all the damage inflicted by people he cared for. He received messages about his physical recuperation and others' conditions. He slipped into a coma but retained vivid memories. Doctors said he wouldn't walk or see again, but he recovered. The experience taught him about behavioral consequences and made him more aware of people's emotions. He became more religious and developed ability to see future events that have come to pass.
--- Biblical Summary --- Biblical elements: The out-of-body experience supports biblical dualism of body and spirit. Encountering deceased people aligns with biblical accounts of the afterlife where consciousness continues. The telepathic communication resembles spiritual communication in scripture. The review of wrongs done by others has parallels to judgment scenes. The message "Do not lie" aligns with biblical commandments. His increased religious practice and spiritual awareness following the NDE reflects positive spiritual transformation. The predictive abilities could be interpreted as a spiritual gift. Unbiblical elements: The deceased appearing as smoke that disperses when touched is unusual but not necessarily unbiblical. The focus on karma-like behavioral consequences ("your behavior will alter everything, including your next life") suggests possible reincarnation beliefs which contradict biblical teaching of one life followed by judgment.
