Sara Charlotte experienced total cardiac arrest and flat-lined in October 1987 following an allergic reaction to medications in the hospital. Upon dying, she heard a sound exactly like the movie theater sound check stating "The audience is listening." She became suddenly aware of being outside her body and heard her sister crying and fighting to stay next to her. She was then pulled rapidly through a very long hallway by two beings she sensed on each side of her, whom she believed were angels. Initially scared, she saw pictures of her mother crying at her funeral flash before her, but the angelic beings made her calmer and she suddenly knew she would see her grandfather.

The experience progressed to what she described as a "Limbo" where her sins were dealt with. She felt sensations of sadness and witnessed her first sin being committed, aware of an invisible judge-like presence. The two angels remained beside her as she was lifted to a mountain-like top where she was told to look down and witnessed both heaven and hell. She found her faith very quickly at that moment and realized when God had tried to speak to her previously but she had been too busy with material things. She felt completely cleansed and a magnetic pull with the angels, wanting to move forward, but was told she had to go back to tell what she had seen.

The veridical aspects included her awareness of her sister's presence and emotional state while clinically dead. She experienced impossible knowledge and understanding, receiving complete knowledge of everything and everyone that she couldn't access after returning. The experience included automatic writing in perfect Latin despite not knowing the language, with a priest confirming the content was biblical. She also temporarily understood foreign languages. The transformation was complete - from non-believer to Christian, with her testimony influencing her mother and sister to become religious.

--- Biblical Summary ---
Biblical elements: This experience strongly aligns with biblical accounts. The angelic beings escorting her match biblical descriptions of angels as guides and protectors. The judgment scene with sin review reflects biblical teachings about accountability before God (2 Corinthians 5:10). The vision of both heaven and hell corresponds with scriptural descriptions of the afterlife's dual destinations. The cleansing she experienced parallels biblical concepts of forgiveness and purification. The commission to return and testify about what she saw mirrors biblical prophetic callings. The automatic writing of biblical content in Latin and the priest's confirmation suggests divine inspiration similar to biblical prophecy.

Unbiblical elements: While largely biblical, some elements raise concerns. The concept of "Limbo" is not found in Protestant biblical teaching, though it exists in Catholic tradition. The ability to understand all foreign languages temporarily resembles but exceeds the biblical gift of tongues, which typically involves specific languages for gospel proclamation. The experience of being at a mountain top observing heaven and hell simultaneously doesn't match specific biblical descriptions, though it could be symbolic. The complete universal knowledge gained temporarily goes beyond typical biblical revelations. Despite these variations, the core message and transformation align with biblical truth, and no directly contradictory teachings appear.
