Lira experienced pulmonary edema and multiple cardiac arrests. She felt increasing lack of air and couldn't enter the ambulance even sitting. At the hospital, she experienced a cone-shaped tunnel with walls of pleasant gray clouds. Inside was very clear with white light. She slowly ascended and at the widest part saw a lovely green field with a wooden fence. Behind the fence were many people including a deceased relative and surprisingly, someone still living. When she approached the fence, some people joined hands forming an enormous elastic gray hand with white rays that pushed her back. This happened five or six times. Her deceased relative was unhappy about the situation and didn't help push her back, unlike the living person who did help. One person smiled at her but she couldn't identify them. Throughout the experience she felt no pain, only softness in the tunnel and great well-being. She was left with the sensation that dying is good and gained certainty that all who pass on are at peace. The experience made her more self-controlled and gave her peace about death, knowing she will one day be okay and peaceful.
