Jule L experienced four NDEs between 1971-1974 due to allergic reactions to dental anesthesia causing breathing cessation. His first experience was vague and frightening. The second introduced the void, tunnel, and light, but doubt caused a hellish "falling away" feeling of eternal spiritual loss. The third repeated the pattern - familiar void, tunnel, light, but again doubt triggered the terrible rejection. The fourth experience was transformative: when the light reappeared after another failed attempt, he prostrated himself asking "What can I do to be with you? How can I serve you?" He was instantly taken into the light, experiencing hysterical spiritual laughter and understanding. The dentist frantically shook him, his voice sounding like sonar that gradually cleared. After years of reflection, Jule understood the experiences as self-judgment based on ability to trust the light completely. He believes we get multiple chances, not just one. He now sees the light in everyone and follows the golden rule. The experiences guide his life decisions, removed his fear of death, and gave him purpose to help others, especially those who've had negative NDEs. His baby daughter's death was easier knowing where her spirit went.
