Kathy F experienced a severe medical crisis in summer 1976 involving extreme abdominal pain, vomiting, diarrhea, and dehydration that led to loss of feeling in her extremities. She was transported by ambulance and has a vestigial memory of someone pounding on her chest, suggesting cardiac arrest.
