Jessica B experienced a near-death event while working as lead preparator at a non-profit gallery when she was electrocuted by a clamp light placed in a pool of water where she was cleaning paint from the floor. Despite warning the artist about the danger, she grabbed one light to turn it off when a lightning bolt of electricity ran through her arms, chest, and head. She was suddenly surrounded by a white, glowing, beautiful light and felt the most amazing peace and comfort she had ever experienced. She felt safe, whole, and part of the universe, as if she was somehow part of a fog or mist of the universe. She was then suddenly jerked back to her body. Witnesses found her on all fours holding the light with her eyes rolled back, being electrocuted for an unknown duration that felt like a year to her. One artist unplugged the lamp, ending the electrocution. She experienced immediate shock, hunger, nausea, and vomiting that lasted four days. The gallery had no workers compensation and only called the hospital rather than taking her for treatment. Remarkably, she experienced healing of pre-existing conditions including complicated migraines and petite mal epilepsy that she had suffered since her teens. She hasn't had a full seizure since the incident and gained mental clarity, awareness of personal powers, and discovered her calling as an artist working with light.
