Gina experienced two separate NDEs - one as a child at age 4 from a fall of 4 meters, and another at age 33 from an accident. Both involved encounters with a being of white light who took her hand and led her to a door that opened on its own. As a child, she had to climb three steps to reach the door, while in the adult experience she went directly to the place of light where one floats rather than walks.
In her more recent experience at age 33, she first passed through a dim tunnel where she saw various deceased people she knew, one of whom touched her feet. She left these deceased beings behind to ascend with the being of light to a place where one floats. Though she saw no one in this higher realm, she felt caresses on her head. She could see her family members in the hospital room crying, and desperately wanting to return to stop their suffering. She could hear the voices of doctors and nurses resonating in her head - as she ascended, the voices faded back but continued to be audible, as if she had a microphone from millions of kilometers away. She saw her husband upset and praying that she would not die. She also witnessed a realm containing objects, beings that looked like angels, animals, and plants - all of which strangely had life and eyes. She encountered beings dressed in black capes who, upon seeing the being of light holding her hand, bowed their heads as though unable or unwilling to look at his face, perhaps out of respect. The childhood experience evoked fear and anguish, while the second experience brought feelings of much love, peace, and happiness. She gained intuitive and clairvoyant abilities afterward, including premonitory dreams. --- Biblical Summary --- Biblical elements: Multiple elements align with biblical accounts including beings of light (angels), ascending to heavenly realms, encounters with deceased individuals, the existence of different spiritual levels/realms, angelic beings, and beings showing reverence to a higher spiritual authority. The lasting gifts of intuition and premonitory dreams could be seen as spiritual gifts. The floating and ascension mirror biblical accounts of spiritual transportation. Unbiblical elements: The description of everything having eyes (plants and objects) represents an animistic view not found in scripture. While this could be metaphorical for divine omnipresence, the literal animation of inanimate objects diverges from biblical cosmology. The development of clairvoyant abilities post-NDE could be concerning from a biblical perspective depending on their use.
