Miguel, one of ten siblings, experienced an NDE around 1968-69 when his older sister accidentally choked him during rough play until he passed out. He described falling into a deep dark hole with wind blowing over his body, then seeing a whirlpool of light with bright light at the end. He knew that going through the light meant no return. He thought about his brother who shared his bed and would be alone. Despite attraction to the light, he heard his sister calling and entered a bright white light where he felt a loving presence around him, full of love and joy. Though he wanted to stay, he was told it wasn't his time and was sent back. In the following days, he felt great sadness and still misses that place, knowing he will return when his time comes.
