Six-year-old Bruce Low experienced a classic NDE during near-drowning incident when he fell from bamboo bridge into stream. As non-swimmer, he was carried by current into lagoon and began sinking slowly to bottom. This situation represented imminent certain death without intervention. Bruce's NDE was characterized by profound peace and tranquility completely displacing expected fear and panic.
