In August 1974, Dove was training a horse when she took a fall while jumping a creek. She fell unconscious and only remembers falling but not landing. She woke in darkness and saw approximately fifteen feet away a circle of beautiful, glorious light with seven figures she could not clearly make out. The beings seemed to know her and communicated telepathically without words, only speaking to each other about her situation.

The central figure made the final decision that Dove was to go back and not enter the light. Despite consciously wanting to go into the light and begging with her mind to be taken, she was sent back involuntarily. The return was extremely painful, described as "lightning bolt crashes of painful light" that came in waves as she fought against returning. She experienced an out-of-body perspective, seeing trees down the lane from a bird's-eye view before quickly returning to where her body lay. Upon return, people were performing CPR on her chest and mouth-to-mouth resuscitation while a woman screamed to call an ambulance.

Veridical Observations: Dove observed the resuscitation efforts being performed on her body from an outside perspective. She had a bird's-eye view of the surrounding area including trees down the lane. She heard telepathic communication between seven beings discussing whether she should stay or return.

Aftermath: When Dove tried to share her experience immediately after revival, the country folk at the scene dismissed it saying "Lay down kid, you saw us!" Her parents later laughed at her and warned her not to tell people or they would think she was "nuts." The experience gave her lasting knowledge about death and the afterlife.

--- Biblical Summary ---
Biblical elements: The experience included separation from the body, encountering spiritual beings in a realm of light, telepathic communication, being sent back with a message that it wasn't her time, and having "something else to do" - possibly related to a future war. These elements align with biblical accounts of spiritual encounters and divine timing.

Unbiblical elements: None specifically identified. The seven beings around the circle of light could represent angels or divine messengers consistent with biblical numerology and descriptions.
