Felix Halpern, a Messianic Rabbi whose grandfather was an Orthodox rabbi killed in the Holocaust, experienced death after a doctor's misdiagnosis led to consuming seven and a half months of thyroid medication in 29 days. After returning from a profound spiritual experience at Israel's Wailing Wall where Jesus touched his shoulder, Felix experienced what doctors call an "inner storm" - tremendous tension, pressure, and pain with his body feeling like a furnace. One September night at 3:00 a.m., experiencing cardiac arrest symptoms, he went downstairs where his heart stopped and his soul jumped from his body.

From above, Felix saw his lifeless body on the couch and glimpsed his family planning his funeral. A powerful angel ministered to his soul before he saw a cone-shaped cylindrical white light leading to Heaven. He found himself prostrate before God's throne, surrounded by impenetrable ripples of fire of inconceivable depth. The brightness of God's glory and presence was so intense he had to cover his eyes, feeling heat even in his spiritual form. The fire represented absolute purity, glory, and God's nature - beyond the 99.9% purity he knew from years refining gold.

Felix observed he could see his wife Bonnie and children grieving, which would later help verify the reality of his experience. During his time in the throne room, he experienced a transformational encounter with God's love that fundamentally changed how he loves others. God also showed him the second heaven where demons dwell, with one trying unsuccessfully to grab his ankle, demonstrating the complete authority believers have through the blood of Yeshua.

Upon return after God gave him a choice between a "transformational or transactional" experience, Felix chose transformation despite the cost. Medical tests showed no organ damage despite the toxic medication overdose, with his doctor saying his bloodwork "looked like a young stag." The experience led to profound revelations about prayer, moving from needs-based "transactional" prayer to glory-focused "transformational" prayer, fundamentally shifting his ministry approach.
