In the summer of 1959, eight-year-old Elsa experienced a profound near-death experience when she drowned in a swimming pool. The drowning incident occurred during what should have been a routine day, but instead became a transformative spiritual encounter that would shape her understanding of life, death, and divine purpose. After losing consciousness in the water, Elsa found herself transported to a transcendent realm where she encountered spiritual beings and received revelations about her future life.
Upon leaving her body, Elsa found herself in another place where people seemed to know her name. She was shown a man she did not recognize holding her as an infant, later understood to be her deceased grandfather. Initially frightened by this unfamiliar spiritual realm, she encountered whom she believed to be Jesus, who showed her a comprehensive life review. During this review, she saw every instance where she had misbehaved or talked back to her mother. Each time she tried to defend her actions, she was shown how they appeared through divine eyes, filling her with shame and leading her to ask for forgiveness. Jesus explained profound spiritual truths to her, including how some people did not believe in Him, which caused Him great sadness. She witnessed beams of light shooting from Earth into the heavens, which Jesus identified as prayers, bringing her comfort that many people still believed. Most remarkably, she was shown prophetic visions of her future, including her two sons who would be born when she was older, and dramatically, that one son would initially hurt Jesus by not believing but would later redeem himself by becoming a wonderful speaker who would captivate audiences with spiritual messages. When Elsa expressed her desire to remain in this heavenly realm, Jesus showed her mother crying intensely, explaining that her death would break her mother's heart. After revealing her future children and their destinies, including the spiritual journey of her sons, Jesus told her she had to return. Filled with euphoria over the revelations, she agreed, and suddenly found herself catching the side of the pool and pulling herself up to safety.
