In February 2010, Andrew J. went out to eat with his father and had a terrible car accident where his father, who was driving, died. Andrew suffered a severe head injury leaving him unconscious for three days and died on the operating table for three minutes during brain surgery. He emerged outside the Gates of Heaven and walked up to a Seraph who, before he could finish stating his name, smiled and said "Follow me, He wishes to speak with you."
He was led through the gates straight to a chamber where The Lord sat. He seated himself across a completely clear desk from Him and they began a long conversation as if between friends. The Lord told him directly he would not remember much of their talk. He remembers the Lord saying "Worry not, you will not be kept here. I do not wish to have you home yet, for you have much to live for!" At this point, not knowing his father had died in the accident, his dad walked in with his usual mischievous smile and pride, standing by the Lord's side. His father simply said "I'm home" and Andrew replied he and his brother Daniel would miss him. His father asked him to take care of Daniel while he could. The Lord then revealed "Your father spoke to me earlier and did not wish you to die. I granted his wish." After more conversation that he cannot fully remember, Andrew expressed anxiety about returning to check on Daniel and gave both his father and the Lord a parting hug. The experience included specific heavenly geography (gates, chamber), recognition of spiritual hierarchy (Seraph, The Lord), discovering his father's death through the encounter, and his father's intercession preventing his own death.
