In 1980, Jennifer T. suffered a direct head injury and experienced clinical death. During her NDE, she encountered a Being of Light with no facial features that emitted very soothing light. In a blink of an eye, she found herself standing in a non-defined area with her Being of Light standing behind her and to her left, with four other Beings of Light scattered to her right.
She was looking at a huge book on an equally large table. A man then appeared with long brown hair and beard, wearing a glowing white robe. He flipped through the book, looked at her, and asked with spoken words if she wanted to stay or go back. In her mind, she saw her mother and infant sister (not in pictures but as mental images), and then she woke up. The specific observations included the Being of Light's lack of facial features but soothing light emission, the spatial arrangement of five Beings of Light total, the huge book on the large table, and the robed figure with specific physical features who spoke audibly. The book appears to be the Book of Life mentioned in biblical texts. Upon waking, the first thing she saw was the green tile wall in her hospital room, and she started screaming, indicating the stark contrast between the spiritual realm and her return to physical reality.
