Wendy Rose Williams, a past-life therapist with an MBA, had her second NDE in 1997 at age 36. Despite having little spiritual background and only casual religious formation, she found herself saying "Oh, please, don't make me walk through one of those long tunnels!" indicating some cultural awareness of NDEs. Instead of a tunnel, a pristine escalator appeared just for her - gorgeous, steep, and long with incredible light illuminating it. She was in pure soul form, like a deflated white beach ball, clinging to the handrail as the escalator took her up.
At the top, she encountered a welcoming party of angels, deceased grandparents, and what she identified as members of her soul family or soul group. They clearly knew she was coming and gave her a huge hug filled with unconditional love that moved her to tears. She recognized Archangel Michael, whom she had met before, who welcomed her home and told her she could stay but needed to decide quickly. He provided three specific pieces of information: her surgery would be successful with full health recovery, her baby would be born healthy, and if she returned, life would be very difficult for many years because she was not on her life path. When she asked about her purpose, Michael and the other beings playfully refused to tell her, with some making gestures of locking their lips and throwing away the key. Her decision to return was based on seeing her toddler daughter's face. Before returning, everyone gave her another hug that included an energy download she felt was necessary for surviving her surgery the next day. She gently floated back into her body, and the white light in the hospital room disappeared. The experience included seeing her soul form, recognizing specific spiritual beings, and receiving prophetic information about her future that she indicates came true.
