She saw endless glowing people and multiple connected cities representing eternal progression. She encountered God as a brilliant light source who told her to return, that she had work to do. Her deceased maternal grandparents emerged to walk her back. Most remarkably, a tall blonde man in U.S. Navy dress uniform stepped forward, identifying himself as Uncle Franklin with a specific message for Dorothy about the baby being with him and his enduring love. Lynn then met Christ as a distinct beam of light who corrected her theology teacher's claim that her heart condition was a cross to bear, explaining it was instead a challenge for growth and compassion. Upon recovery, Lynn verified her observations: Dr. Davidson confirmed a Black doctor was called in last-minute when a team member became ill. When she relayed Franklin's message to Aunt Dorothy, her aunt revealed the family secret - Franklin was her WWII husband who died in Italy's invasion, causing Dorothy to miscarry their baby, exactly matching the message Lynn received from someone she had never known existed.
