Barbara Harris Whitfield, age 32, suffered respiratory complications while immobilized in a circle bed following back surgery. Leaving her body, she saw herself crying in the bed and simultaneously saw her one-year-old self also crying. An loving Energy enveloped her and initiated a panoramic life review consisting of thousands of scenes in bubbles flowing at breakneck speed. The transformative aspect was experiencing events from multiple viewpoints - not only re-feeling her own emotions but fully experiencing the feelings of everyone involved. She became her drug-addicted mother, feeling her mother's childhood pain and helplessness that led to the abuse. She felt her brother's rage and understood how the cycle of trauma was passed through generations. She saw how she had sacrificed her identity to care for her mother, repeating her mother's pattern. Most critically, she realized she was on the verge of perpetuating the same cycle with her own children. The ultimate revelation was that her only major life mistake was never learning to love herself. This multi-perspectival life review provided profound therapeutic insight, allowing her to understand her abusers as wounded people caught in cycles of pain, facilitating forgiveness and breaking the generational pattern of abuse.
