Chris L had a severe reaction to anesthesia during oral surgery that resulted in cardiac arrest. He was flatlined for over three minutes before being successfully resuscitated. During this clinical death, Chris found himself with his deceased father-in-law in an incredibly peaceful realm that he did not want to leave. Remarkably, his father-in-law, who could not speak English when alive, communicated with him perfectly clearly during the experience. Chris was aware of the resuscitation efforts, feeling the defibrillator paddles shocking his body and sensing his body moving up and down while his consciousness remained still in darkness with arms crossed. Since this profound experience, Chris has developed the ability to have controlled out-of-body experiences when falling asleep, feeling a tether connecting his soul to his body that sometimes snaps him back. The experience left him with enhanced spiritual abilities and a new understanding of consciousness beyond the physical body.
