Rachel, a Jewish woman, experienced a profound NDE during a head-on collision in February 1975 on icy roads. She was unconscious with her head trapped between the windshield, dash, and collapsed roof. While unconscious, she found herself in a circle of light observing the accident scene from above, seeing the dead driver in the other car and watching a woman take her children to safety. She encountered a figure she identified as Jesus Christ despite her Jewish faith, who took her hand and led her around a well, showing her both blissful and hellish realms. The hellish side contained blackened, sweaty people moaning in pain and chained to their spots. At the well, she saw a vision of three children calling for her - her two boys and a daughter she had not yet had. Eight years later she gave birth to that daughter. She verified two key observations: knowing the other driver was dead before being told, and seeing the woman who took her children to another car. The experience profoundly affected her, leading to her eventual divorce and the certain knowledge that she must raise her children as shown in the vision. Despite her Jewish faith, she could not deny the reality of encountering Jesus during this transformative experience.
