Dale Black, a nineteen-year-old pilot, was the sole survivor when his plane disintegrated after smashing into a stone monument at 135 miles per hour. His last memory was of the crash, then suddenly he found himself suspended in midair, hovering over the wreckage of his body. He observed his physical form below with clothes torn to shreds and soaked in blood. He then sped through a narrow, dark pathway delineated by light, accompanied by two masculine-looking angelic escorts in seamless white garments. His peripheral vision was enhanced, allowing him to see their faces and even behind himself simultaneously.
He approached a magnificent golden city hearing majestic and enchanting music. He instantly knew the place was holy and felt a strong sense of belonging, as if it was made for him. The city was bathed in palpable, opaque white light more intense than the sun, containing every imaginable color, all seeming alive and dancing. This light emanated from a focal point within the city and shone through things rather than on them. He saw countless millions of angels and people swaying to music and worshiping God. Suspended hundreds of feet above ground, he moved effortlessly along a narrow road toward an entrance in the massive city wall. Below was vibrant, pure green grass with each blade slightly transparent and emitting light from within. The landscape included rolling hills with colorful wildflowers and majestic mountains in the distance. He smelled gentle, sweet fragrances and could distinguish individual aromas of grass, flowers, and trees. He heard rushing water like rivers cascading over waterfalls. Between the city center and walls were groupings of brightly colored, unique homes. The city wall stretched endlessly, permeated by powerful light containing rainbow colors that adjusted to his movement. A perfectly clear river with a bluish-white hue flowed from the city center toward the wall, with light shining from within the water itself.
