Bonnie L reports multiple NDEs throughout childhood. At age 2, she was struck on the forehead by a large falling radio while trying to climb it. At age 8, she "died" during the night while ill with scarlet fever. At age 15, a dental injection containing epinephrine caused her heart to stop. Additional spontaneous OBEs occurred throughout her twenties and thirties.

In her dental experience at 15, she observed her body from above and saw magazines scattered on the floor that had been in her lap - a detail confirmed when she returned to her body. She experienced 360-degree vision and hearing, feeling herself as large as the earth.
