A nine-year-old child developed an extremely high fever of 106 degrees or above with no identifiable cause despite extensive medical testing. Multiple pediatricians decided to use drastic measures to prevent brain damage by stripping the child naked and wrapping them in ice cubes and sheets. During this extreme treatment, the child passed out and had a profound near-death experience. The child floated in darkness before entering a tunnel of light with a very bright light at the end. Upon reaching the end, a beautiful vista appeared with fields of flowers, a road, painted trees, and a white fence. Gorgeous horses were visible in a pasture. A white light presence, friendly and non-threatening, accompanied the child toward the horses. The presence appeared as blinding white light that was all colors and no colors simultaneously. A voice declared "It's not her time. She has to go back," leading to the child being gently guided back down the tunnel despite strong resistance. The child threw a tantrum, desperately wanting to stay, but was told "You can have it later, but this is not the time" and that they had "something for you to do." The child then returned to consciousness with a frightened doctor expressing relief.
