Andy N suffered a severe closed head injury on September 7, 2004, when the pickup truck he was in flipped. He was unconscious and bleeding to death when paramedics arrived. Life Flight helicopter was called to transport him to a trauma center. Though Andy has no memory of the actual accident, he vividly remembers his experience during the period of unconsciousness.
