Nina, a nine-year-old girl, experienced cardiac arrest during routine appendectomy surgery. Upon hearing medical staff announce that her heart had stopped, she found herself floating near the ceiling, observing the resuscitation efforts from above. Initially confused by the aerial perspective, she did not immediately recognize the body below as her own until identification became clear. The out-of-body state allowed her to witness the entire emergency response while experiencing no physical distress.
During her elevated vantage point, Nina left the operating room and observed her mother crying in the hallway. Despite attempts to communicate and provide comfort, she discovered complete inability to be heard or acknowledged by anyone present. The medical team's belief that she had died was apparent from their urgent actions and concerned expressions. A beautiful woman appeared to assist Nina, recognizing her frightened state and providing companionship through the subsequent journey. Together they traversed a long, dark tunnel at rapid speed, with light visible at the distant end. Upon emerging, Nina found herself in heaven, characterized by beautiful flowers and divine presence. She encountered both God and Jesus, who informed her of the necessity to return to her physical body due to her mother's distress. They emphasized that her life remained incomplete and required continuation. The tunnel through which she traveled was notably dark throughout its length, with the journey occurring at high velocity before reaching the brilliant light that brought profound happiness.
