Helen was nine years old when she drowned and had a near-death experience. The drowning incident was severe enough to cause her to lose consciousness and have a profound spiritual encounter that would shape her understanding of life's meaning and purpose.
During her NDE, Helen found herself in the presence of beings who seemed unfamiliar to her, yet she paradoxically felt as if she knew them somehow. After her initial panic subsided, she had many questions for these beings about fundamental aspects of existence. She wanted to know how the world worked, how it was made, what our purpose was in life, why we are here, and how we came to be here. The beings tried to slow her down, explaining that they couldn't answer everything for her at this time. They said that explaining would be difficult and that the answers were beyond human understanding. Despite these limitations, the beings did provide Helen with a crucial insight about humanity's purpose. They told her that our purpose on this earth is to love, and that love is the purpose on earth. However, they acknowledged that sometimes humans have a hard time understanding this fundamental truth. This simple yet profound message about love being the central purpose of human existence became a cornerstone of Helen's understanding of life. The experience left Helen with a clear comprehension that love is not just one aspect of human existence but is actually the fundamental reason for our being here. The beings' acknowledgment that humans struggle to understand this truth added a layer of compassion to the message, recognizing the difficulty of fully grasping and living out this purpose in earthly life.
