Wendy had abdominal pain for about a week when an ultrasound showed such a serious abnormality that she was scheduled for emergency surgery. During the surgery, she died and could see the medical team performing CPR on her body. She experienced herself floating out of her body, feeling free and peaceful with no pain.
Wendy floated upward and saw a beautiful tunnel with bright light at the end. The light was brighter than the sun, pure and white, but didn't hurt her eyes. Despite knowing she would leave behind her baby and husband, she didn't care and wanted to go into the light, wanting to go home. She felt wrapped in a blanket of love. Through the light, all her dead relatives were there, happy to see her and welcoming her home. She knew everyone even though she hadn't met them before, feeling connected to everyone like a collective consciousness. In a meadow in the mountains, her grandmother ran toward her with children. They stood on a bridge over a creek where her grandmother, vibrant and healthy despite dying from a brain tumor when Wendy was nine, talked about Wendy's life. Her grandmother watched over Wendy and her son but said Wendy had to go back - it wasn't her time. Wendy learned there is no time in the afterlife, that time was made by humans. Despite wanting to stay, she fell back through the tunnel and returned to her pain-filled body. Wendy encountered God as pure energy with great wisdom within. God told her we all need to live in love and that she had to take back the message of love. We need to love and help one another. God spoke to her as a blanket of love with brilliant colors and connection.
