Anita from Hong Kong was dying from stage 4 Hodgkin's lymphoma with the senior cancer doctor giving her only thirty-six hours to live. Her body was filled with swollen lymph nodes and her organs were shutting down. She became unconscious as death approached, entering what should have been her final hours. The medical team was preparing for organ failure as the inevitable cause of death from advanced cancer.
During her unconscious state, Anita had an out-of-body experience where she could see her doctor talking to her husband about forty feet down the hall outside her room. She was shown that her test results would reflect her choice - if she chose life, the results would show functioning organs; if she chose death, they would show organ failure. She was told that if she returned, she would heal rapidly and completely. She made the choice to return to life. Anita observed her doctor talking to her husband forty feet away in the hallway while she was unconscious in her room. She later verified these observations with her husband who was "shocked" at her accurate description. She also correctly predicted that her organ function tests would show normal results if she chose to live. Immediately after choosing to return, doctors rushed in with smiles announcing her organs were functioning normally despite appearing to have shut down. She recovered rapidly - the lymph nodes shrank so much that doctors couldn't find one large enough for biopsy, and bone marrow biopsy showed no cancer activity. Repeated full body scans found nothing. Within weeks she was cancer-free, leading doctors to call it miraculous. She now shares that "miracles are possible in your life every day" and that "we did not come here to suffer."
