Randy Kay, a healthcare executive, experienced clinical death for 30 minutes and 49 seconds after six blood clots blocked his pulmonary artery and sepsis spread throughout his body. His journey began when he felt a soft pull from his chest as his spirit separated from his body. He was drawn upward by a brilliant light through galaxies and witnessed angels battling demons in the second heaven. Upon meeting Jesus, Randy felt overwhelming love and peace as Jesus embraced him with His left arm, placing His bearded cheek against Randy's. Jesus appeared with shoulder-length brown wavy hair, Middle Eastern features, and eyes like the ocean containing blues, grays, browns, and greens.
During multiple life reviews with Jesus, Randy witnessed key moments from his past through God's perspective, understanding how each event shaped his spiritual journey. He saw his uncle's funeral, childhood sufferings, and moments when God had protected him from death. In Heaven's paradise, Randy observed flowing rivers of living water, perpetually growing flowers, and reunited with his childhood dog Casey. He witnessed the Throne Room where God the Father appeared as a massive figure with blazing eyes and white flowing hair, surrounded by towering cherubim angels. Randy observed prophetic visions of the end times, including God's Glory being poured out on earth, followed by the removal of His Spirit, and finally the Tribulation judgments. He saw Jesus returning on a white horse with armies of angels, and witnessed the creation of the new Earth. A couple singing "Abide with Me" at his bedside was simultaneously heard by Randy in Heaven as angels sang the same song. After returning to his body, Randy experienced enhanced empathy and spiritual sensitivity. He could sense people's inner feelings and maintained ongoing communication with the Holy Spirit. Years later during a prayer retreat, he experienced another divine visitation where he saw guardian angels and conversed with Jesus throughout the night.
