Ken Johnson, an air traffic controller, fell severely ill with H1N1 flu that progressed to pneumonia and acute respiratory distress syndrome with only 5% survival rate. He spent 84 days hospitalized and 42 days in rehab. During critical moments when family was called in, Ken had a near-death experience. He found himself in a beautiful place with indescribable flowers and a radiant white light emanating overwhelming love. God communicated "I love you more than you will ever know and have you in my right hand." His deceased brother Ricky appeared younger, telling him to return. Ken recovered despite severe complications including deep vein thrombosis. Later, God orchestrated a reunion with his estranged brother at Cracker Barrel.
