In December 2021, Amber Cavanagh suffered a massive stroke from a torn carotid artery. After delayed emergency response and misdiagnosis by paramedics who thought she was drunk, she arrived at the hospital six hours after the stroke began, too late for standard treatment. During emergency treatment and while being airlifted for surgery, Amber had an extraordinary NDE. She found herself in a stunning otherworldly garden with colors beyond Earth's spectrum, where everything radiated golden rainbow light. She saw her family members' higher selves and beings from other dimensions representing her past and future lives. Spirit guides presented her with a choice to return or stay, showing her future challenges and her purpose. Most remarkably, while out of body, Amber observed multiple verifiable events: her family driving through mountains with no cell service, her sisters bargaining with God in their thoughts, her children packing clothes at home, and her mother praying by the hospital window. She accurately described her daughter playing Doc McStuffins with medical equipment and her son's emotions. She witnessed her own grand mal seizure from above the ICU room. All family members confirmed these observations were accurate, including private thoughts and actions that occurred while Amber was comatose or being transported. Her recovery defied medical expectations - despite losing an orange-sized portion of her brain, she regained speech, mobility, and function that doctors said was impossible.
